Following the success of their very first album, The Upper Hand, the French/American duo AllttA is releasing The Upper Hand - Instrumentals. The album features 16 productions from French beatmaker 20syl, from C2C and Hocus Pocus. Even though these tracks were initially composed for Mr J Medeiros to rap over, The Upper Hand - Instrumentals constitutes an album on its own. In fact, just like he did on Motifs and Motifs II, his first 2 solo EPs, 20syl lays out a very rich and varied set of compositions, in which he continues to blend electronic and organic textures in his own distinctive way.
