Producer Really Hiiim and videographer Puzzle joined forces for an album called, “The Crux.”
The Crux is a collection of 11 songs featuring an array of emcees telling their tales over Really Hiiim’s somber, sampled soundscapes.
The Crux features appearances of prominent artists from the underground “new wave boom bap scene” like Pounds, Willie The Kid, Al.Divino, Estee Nack, Fly Anakin, Koncept Jackson, B.A Badd, Falcon Outlaw, Lord Juco, PT, Raz Fresco, Maf, Adonis, 448 Brad, and veteran Planet Asia. The Real Hip-Hop spoke to Really Hiiim about making music that could cross over into the mainstream, his working relationship with Puzzle, and their new album, The Crux.
